Logo & Visual Identity

WISE & Healthy Aging is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to elevating the dignity and quality of life of older adults. As a trusted voice on aging, the brand required a visual identity that could reflect its expertise, compassion, and clarity while resonating with a broad and diverse audience.

This was their previous logo and identity colors:

The rebrand focused on creating a modern, accessible, and highly legible identity system that could communicate warmth and trust without sacrificing clarity. ADA accessibility standards were a key consideration throughout, informing decisions around color contrast and overall readability.

The visual direction was grounded in themes of nature, people, and community, ensuring the identity felt both human-centered and long lasting.

I redesigned the logo developing a clean and vibrant mark that serves as the foundation for the broader brand system. The final concept centers on a tree growing from the “i” in WISE, symbolizing life, growth, wisdom, and continued resilience.

Within the tree, subtle human forms emerge from the branches—representing the care, connection, and support that define the organization’s mission. This layered symbolism allows the mark to communicate meaning in a way that is both immediate and discoverable over time.

In addition to the logo, I developed a comprehensive style guide to ensure consistency across all applications. This included defining typography, accessible fonts, color systems, and visual rules that support accessibility while maintaining a cohesive brand presence.

The result is a thoughtful and scalable identity system that reflects the organization’s role as both a trusted resource and a compassionate advocate.

By combining clarity, symbolism, and accessibility, the rebrand creates a strong visual foundation that supports WISE & Healthy Aging’s mission and allows the organization to connect more effectively with the communities it serves.
